Blood Pressure
Oct 2006 Keith unstable wanting to fall backwards to his left, leaning nearly at a 45deg angle to his left, still incontinent but walking short distances. During one of my visits I took Keith to my hotel room to stand him in front of the mirror so he could see how he was leaning to the left. Keith was totally unaware of the angle he was standing. I had him lay down for a while and afterwards he was standing upright. During another visit in Oct Keith just dropped and hit the deck without warning. I requested several times to TideWay's RN and Dr Masel take Keith to the family doctor. Dr Masel did not authorize TideWay's RN to take Keith to the family doctor so I did on Dec 6 2006. Keith's blood pressure was 90/50. We were told the reason Keith had been leaning to the left was his brain trying to get blood because his blood pressure was so low which was also the reason he dropped. Dr Masel had Keith on blood pressure medication. Dr Moore contacted Dr Masel and by the time I got home to NJ the next day and called Dr Masel, the blood pressure medication was stopped.
