"Hydrocephalus -he has had a bad three to four days.
He is becoming incontinent once again.
His speech has been somewhat slurred as well."
June 25, 2007 Letter to Dr Patterson and Dr Masel
In my letter dated June 25, 2007 to Dr Patterson and Dr Masel, I asked "Do you gentlemen think Keith is not getting enough fluids and is dehydrated?" and also requested an update.
May 2007 Progress Report by Dr Masel
May - July 2007 I noted a major decline in Keith's stability. I sent a letter to both Dr Patterson the shunt surgeon and Dr Masel requesting an update on Keith.

"decrease in balance, and reports of being dizzy along with an increase in thirst. "
"Due to an increase in thirst Dr Masel decided during rounds to hold the Artane as this may be a factor."

Note Dr Masel stating
stopped Artane as it was felt it might be causing his increased fluid intake. His fluid intake has decreased significantly after stopping the Artane.

Puts Keith on another drug which again caused a decline in Keith's health.
I would not receive copies of Keith's med sheets till months later if ever. I had no idea what was the cause for Keith's decline but later learned Dr Masel had put Keith on yet another medication, Artane, again without my knowledge or consent which was the cause for Keith's health decline.
